Although on a tourist street (the pedestrian Ste-Anne street) the restaurant Le Pain Béni respects high standards, offers a varied and even audacious carte centered on local products and the service is good. The dinner menu changes regularly and the lunch’s varies daily. The prices are reasonable, the décor is friendly, the kitchen is open, everything for a warm atmosphere. Delicious!

Fabulous is the first word in Ms Stéphanie Bois-Houde's last article on the restaurant Le Pain Béni. Ms Bois-Houde is the gastronomy critic for the major newspaper Le Soleil and her article appears in full in the accompanying text in French. She underlies the mixture of the aromas and textures in a new cuisine approach and the exquisite use of local and exotic spices and products. She insists on the professional service, the relaxed atmosphere and the reserved audaciousness of the chef. Ms Bois-Houde is surprised to find a really fine restaurant in a part of the city better known for its tourist attractions. She denounces the portions served as too generous ! Two years later, M. Renaud of the Voir magazine is back at the Pain Béni. The restaurant stays the course, does credit to its menu and keeps serving first quality food. An enjoyable experience. The warm if simple décor is a fit frame for the great culinary experience the restaurant offers.

A charming restaurant has just been born. M Alix Renaud of the Voir magazine was surprised by the audacious and varied carte, the fervor in the kitchen and the warm service. Simon, the young chef has put together an original menu for everyone to enjoy. A family business, the Pain Béni wants to offer local flavors on a gastronomic plate. Young and already divine.
